Riku, it hatched. [ There is a tone of excitement in Terra's normally calm voice, since he's not really seen this before ]

It's very cute, actually. She's been playing with Pulse for a bit, actually. I think I'm going to name her Aqua...

[ A small moment where he rubs his neck and then recovers ]

Is everyone ready for travelling? Let me know if any of you need help packing or moving things, I am completely ready.

[Pausing again, his mouth quirks into a quiet sort of smile; he really does like Shinx, they are pretty darn.. cute. Smiles are a little infectious too.]

Nice. It grows into a lion of sorts as it gets higher leveled. [After a moment, the feed turns to where there's a full grown Luxray happily hogging the entirety of a twin sized bed, the pillow torn up and hanging from her maw.]

... Aela, really?

[ Terra laughs suddenly ]

That's pretty cool. Though I hope my pillows stay intact. [ More laughing ]

[The laughing leaves him looking a little awkwardly quiet, before reaching into the view to try and take the remains of the pillow. Aela lets him, even opening her jaws to let her trainer pick pillow bits out of her teeth.] I don't know. All the big cats like making piles out of blankets and pillows.

Good to know. I've never really had to take care of an animal before, so this is new to me. [ A nod. He's trying to be nice to Vanitas, but he feels a little awkward about it ]

[He's not the only one awkward about conversing, how nice. Once Aela's mouth was cleared of as much pillow fabric as he could find, Vanitas turns the feed back to himself.]

What other Pokemon do you have? I've seen a lot of different ones from being here a while, so I could.. offer advice, or something. [The end of his sentence is mumbled out a bit awkwardly, but he doesn't turn his attention away from the screen.]

At the moment, a Houndour, a Grotle and this Shinx. I'm working on collecting more as we travel.

[ He smiles. It's kind of awkward, sure, but he's happy that Vanitas seems to be trying. HEAD PATS ARE IN YOUR FUTURE VAN...]

Dark and fire, grass and ground, and electric. Not bad for types so far. [IT'S REALLY KIND OF AWKWARD ON HIS END. Nghgh. Headpats will make him the most awkward of awkwardvanis ever.] Maybe try to find a psychic or water type next. Dragons are pretty good too.

Houndour and Shinx are both going to be pretty mouthy though, where they pick things up that way just to figure out what it is. They're essentially dogs, and with crunch or bites attacks, they need their teeth checked on regularly. Splintered teeth only aggravates their tempers.

Really? That's good to know. I'll make sure to keep track of their teeth. It seems like Aqua will be pretty curious.

[He starts to nod, but fffffffffffff he can't help a small snort.] You're naming it after her? I'd think you would aim for something less aggressive looking after it evolves. [Since Aela is hogging the bedroom, the feed moves to the window where its pulled open, and there's a large, blue and white Altaria fluffing her wings and preening.] Like this.

[ Terra feels his neck heat up as he rubs it ] S...She's a tough person, and this one is pretty nice.

[ He nods ] That one is beautiful.

[ NOT THAT HE'S SAYING AQUA'S PRETTY CAUSE SHE'S NOT, GOSH. ]

Her name is Sanaa. She was the third one I got, and the second egg I had to hatch. [The whole awkward turtle moment of Terra trying not to compliment how Aqua is pretty doesn't really slip by him, and for a moment, he feels like he can tease a little.]

So you're saying you don't think Aqua is that pretty? I'll call you a liar. [Bro, he's stalked Ventus all his young life, you don't think he catches onto the other relationships floating around that tiny little world?]

[ Everything you just said is now officially invalid because the only thing Terra heard was that last part ]

It's not..

[ Cue him just mumbling now and looking a little bit more then awkward. Aqua is a friend! Plus he was a total jerk to her before, so she was probably still a little mad at him ]

You know, you're allowed to say she's pretty and not mean anything other than it being a compliment.

I know...It doesn't mean anything! [ Or does it? Terra's confusing himself ~~which isn't hard to do~~. ]

Yeah, so did you catch a lot of your pokemon? [ CHANGE OF SUBJECT GO ]

Some. Others were eggs I hatched and raised. A few were gifts.

Interesting. I know I've gotten a few of mine, caught a couple...it's kind of fun.

Yeah, it is. Gym battles are fun for them too, for the most part.

I will definitely try to go to the gyms eventually. I want to stay with Ven.

If you wind up in Kanto, you can take the normal challenge there too. I think he's been staying there since Riku has a training center now.

Yeah, we have been hanging around here. I'll have to ask him if it'd be okay for him to come along.
