[ While trying to post to the network, Terra was not only confused by how to do that, but the weird little creature that was attaching itself to him. He wasn’t particularly used to things like this, given his reactions to 626 in his own world… Though at least being somewhere different wasn’t too daunting. Frowning, though, he looked a little disgruntled as the thing was making noises at him. He was just heading out of Destiny Islands so he wasn't sure how he ended up here... ]

So...This. Whatever it is. It keeps trying to crawl up my leg. What...do I do with it? We didn’t have things like this at home. [ a pause as he thinks ]

It doesn’t look like a dog, or anything I’m used to at all. I suppose it’s not an unversed because it doesn’t seem to be attacking me.

[ Another pause and a puzzled look as Terra reaches out to it slowly to pet it. It’s not shown much, but he kind of smiles. ] I suppose it’s not so bad. [ Suddenly he realizes something, and frowns again ]

…What do even I feed it? Also, is there anyone in this world that can tell me where to get around? Or possibly out? I'm in a little bit of a hurry.

[And oh, what a start it was...Terra you don't have to make that face. She's not going to use what she has against you.]

That's how it works in this world. People can come from different times, know different things, and they talk to other people about them. Someone you don't recognize may know your entire history like the back of their hand.

[ A small sigh. He was definitely going to be talking to Ven when they met up. ]

That's very strange. But then again, two boys who I believe are from the future of my world are here.

[ A pause ]

Have you been taking care of Ven?

[Preferably a long talk. And Terra better listen to Ven or Lightning will flip him like a turtle.]

Like I said: different times. It could be hours or years, but it's rare that anyone from the same world shows up from the exact same time.

[She's only seen it once. Once. And she's been here for almost two years.]

We've been taking care of each other. He's a friend of mine.

[Family, really. Her Venbro who continually gets into trouble.]

[ A pause before he smiled a little bit ]

I'm glad he's making friends. Though it's not a hard feat for him.

[A nod, and then...yep. She smiles a bit herself.]

You're right about that. He could make friends with his worst enemy if you give him enough time. [oh, shoot. That reminds her.] Did he tell you that Vanitas is here?

[ That name does get a reaction, but it's not as angry as it originally would have been. He's not sure how to take the boy, given that he has no reason to trust him...But some of the things he had said didn't make sense. ]

I actually spoke with Vanitas myself. I'm uncertain of what he said to me, so I am going to talk to Ven about it.

[Talk to Ven, huh? That's...probably going to lead him in circles, unfortunately. As much as she trusts Ven, there's something off about all this.]

Then you should know that Ven trusts Vanitas. He's probably going to ask you to give him a chance if he hasn't already.

[What Terra will do with that information, she doesn't know. But forewarned is forearmed and it's clear that Lightning herself...finds Vanitas a sore point. A very sore point.]

[ Terra's face is immediately guarded, but it is obvious that he doesn't like Vanitas. Something happened in their world and Terra was going to have to find out what it was, sooner or later. ]

If...Ven trusts him, then I will have to attempt to do the same. It will take a bit of explaining, as I'm sure I've missed a few points that lead to Ven's decision.

[ A pause]

But that doesn't mean I won't be on my guard.

[Oh, it's definitely obvious that Terra doesn't like Vanitas. Lightning...actually feels relieved on that point. Maybe he can be trusted, sure, but she's known him to do too many bad things to just forget they ever happened and trust him herself.]

Good. Ven needs someone to look out for him. Someone who's going to be around and close by in case something happens.

[She's done what she can, of course, but...sometimes there's little someone not from his world can do.]

[ A nod. Terra's realized his mistake of not being around for Ventus and Aqua and he is determined to not do that again. ]

I will work hard. I don't intend to leave his side again.

[Lightning knows that intent doesn't always equal outcome. She's seen friends and family promise to stay only to disappear without warning, so she's not thinking this time's going to be any different than the last. But still...Ven needs him. No use dragging Terra down now.]

I'll hold you to that. Don't let him down now, alright?

I'll work hard.

[ A moment, and he realized he didn't get her name ]

I apologize, I don't believe I got your name.

[Have a nod, then--oh. Right. Names. Those are things with people who don't remember you.]

Lightning. If Ven mentions someone called Light, he's talking about me.

[Nicknames are also a thing with little sibs.]

[ A nod. ]

Terra. Though I'm sure you knew that, I'll at least be polite.

[ They are! Little sibs are awesome. ]
